Tate Hartman, CFP®, M.A.

Tate began his career with Heartland Credit Union in 2010, working as a Member Service Officer. After rising up to positions of Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager, he was named the Financial Advisor with Heartland Financial Services in March 2015. Tate has obtained his FINRA series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as state insurance licenses. In April 2017, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In July 2018, he was recognized by the Springfield Business Journal as a Forty Under 40 recipient. Tate specializes in getting to know his clients, understanding their needs and goals, and designing customized plans to address all aspects of their financial well-being.

A native of Springfield, Tate graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and Master's degree from Eastern Illinois University, where he met his wife, Danielle. Outside of his practice, Tate strives to make Springfield a great place to live and work. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield-South and serves as Treasurer for 100+ Who Care in Springfield. When he is not working or volunteering, he can be found spending time with Danielle, his twin daughters, Claudia and Vivian, and their two dogs, Ryken and Ragnar, or out on the links, practicing his golf game.
